What Is Into The Gnar?
Into The Gnar is a national Devinci mountain bike event – and 2026 marks the first time it comes to Quebec. Sutton was chosen for its trail network: 47+ km of lift-served singletrack, from wide blue cruisers to technical black features in the trees. The event draws serious riders from across Canada and attracts the full MTB community for the weekend.
Dates: July 10-12, 2026 (Friday to Sunday).
Why Sutton Is the Perfect Host Town
Sutton has been quietly building one of the best MTB destinations in Eastern Canada. The trails are lift-served, technically varied, and well-maintained. The village is 5 minutes drive from the mountain base – good restaurants, a strong local food scene, a Saturday market running all summer long.
2026 adds something new: a village-to-mountain connector trail being built by Plein air Sutton, linking the village directly to the mountain’s MTB network. Check pleinairsutton.ca for the opening date and exact trailhead access before your visit.
The Chalet
Sutton Nest sleeps six – the right size for a friend group doing the event together. Three bedrooms (all three queens), two full bathrooms, and an open-concept kitchen built for cooking for a group.
After a full day on the mountain, the private outdoor spa is waiting. It’s one of those things you don’t think you need until you’ve done a long bike day and lowered yourself into hot water at dusk.
Check-in is self-serve. Local Sutton products waiting for you on arrival. The setup is built for groups who want to show up, drop their gear, and get after it.
